Dr Mayer graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2007 with her DDS degree after receiving her Bachelors of Science from Marquette in 2004. She spent one year after dental school in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at the Ministry Dental Center where she completed Marquette University’s Rural Dental Fellowship. During this time, Dr. Mayer was able to work and train with various dental specialists in order to hone her skills and treat a variety of dental conditions.
During dental school, Dr. Mayer had the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic through Compassionate Dental Care Inc. to provide dental care to the drastically underserved villagers in the town of Sabana Yegua.
A Colorado native, Dr. Mayer is happy to be home after eight years in Wisconsin. She is a member of the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, and the Colorado Dental Association. Dr. Mayer is a member and active participant in the Mile High Dental Study Club through the Seattle Study Club and the Centennial Dental Study Club.
Dr. Mayer lives in Denver with her husband Gabe, their sons Teddy and Linus, and their pugs Tootsie Roll and Oreo. She enjoys yoga, reading and taking walks with her family in the park.
